2 night / 3 day itinerary
Day 01:
06:00-07:00 a.m. Pick up at major hotels in San José area.
08:00 a.m. Stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast at Río Danta Restaurant in Guápiles
09:00 a.m. Departure to Caño Blanco dock in Siquirres area.
10:45 a.m. Arrival to Caño Blanco. Board the boat for your ride towards Tortuguero.
1:00-1:15 p.m. Arrival to Mawamba Lodge. Enjoy lunch at the pool restaurant.
03:00 p.m Explore with your guide our local attractions including the butterfly farm, frog farm & garden, ranarium, aquarium, bio-digestor, and gardens.
05:00 p.m. Free time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and surroundings or simply relax.
07:00 pm Dinner at the pool restaurant.
Optional night walk into private trails (year round) Optional night tour to observe the turtle nesting.(During season July–September)
Day 02:
6:00–8:00 a.m. Morning guided canal visit.
08:00 a.m. Return for breakfast at the lodge.
09:00 a.m. Departure by boat to our private trail, where you will enjoy a guided walk into the tropical rainforest.
12:30 noon: Lunch at the pool restaurant.
03:00 p.m. Afternoon canal boat tour.
05:00 p.m. Return to the lodge and free time.
07:00 p.m. Dinner at the pool restaurant.

Day 03:
8:00 a.m. Breakfast at the lodge
9:00 a.m. Meet at main dock for return boat ride to Caño Blanco dock.
11:00 a.m. Arrival to Caño Blanco. Board the bus for the return drive to San José.
1:00 p.m . Stop for lunch at Restaurant Río Danta in Guápiles.
1:45-2:00 p.m. Return drive to San José.
3:30–4:00 p.m. Arrival time in San Jose and drop off at your hotel.
