| The
Carara National Park is located approximately one hour from Manuel
Antonio near the Tarcoles River which is inhabited by wild crocodiles
which can reach 15 feet (5 mts.) in length. The park itself is
home to the endangered Scarlet Macaw as well as Jacamar, Trogons
and is a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers with many
areas designated as Primary and Secondary Forest. The hike through
the park takes approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Price:

Quepos area offers a nine- platform canopy tour which is located
in the rainforest and which will you provide you with a natural

area of Jaco offers a spectacular thirteen-platform canopy tour
with no less than three beautiful waterfalls in the midst of a
transitional jungle. Our platforms range from ground level to
over 100 feet above the ground and include a Tarzan Swing, Suspension
Bridge, Slide and a fully furnished three-story Tree house in
the style of the Swiss family Robinson. At the end of this tour
and starting again at ground level is very long steel cable with
an 80 foot rappel down for the truly adventurous. Experience it

The
trip to Cano Island is one of our more popular and exciting trips.
The Cano Island Biological Reserve is best known for its inshore
coral reefs and its importance as a pre-Colombian cemetery. There
are many tombs and artifacts yet to be found such as pestles,
corn grinding tables, and granite spheres which are slowly disappearing
in the rain forest. A well-maintained trail will take you into
a verdant rain forest where some of these artifacts can be seen.
Like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie, you might see some real
Boa Constrictors, giant frogs, and several mammal species such
as the Marsupial and Paca. The flora and fauna of this island
is one of the most diverse in the hemisphere and the island is
surrounded by secluded, almost white beaches which attract several
turtle species. If you like to snorkel you can see some brilliant
tropical fish, Moray Eels, Sea Cucumbers and the small Reef Sharks
among the abundant coral beds. Offshore waters are teeming with
Bottled-Nosed Dolphins, Manta Rays, Sperm- Pilot- and Humpback
Whales. Almost 6000 hectares of ocean has been designated as part-of
the Reserve.

guided tour to the mangroves of Damas Island takes place by boat
and according to the tides. This tour of the estuary easy and
relaxing. Just sit back and take in the flora and fauna of die
mangrove. You will see many types of birds as well as a variety
of animals which have made the mangroves their homes for thousands
of years. They include Crocodiles, Caymans, Boa Constrictors,
