Manuel Antonio National Park (LM #3) Departure Times: 7:30 AM and 1:30 PM ( 2 1/2 hour tour)

Manuel Antonio BayThe Manuel Antonio National Park is one of the Costa Rica's most popular parks. Your private tour guide will take you on an informative hike through the park and explain the verdant flora and fauna. Ale park is home to many wild animals including two and three toed sloth's, spider, howler, and white-faced monkeys. Following your tour you have the opportunity to stay behind and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica and snorkel.

Price: $35 per person (includes park entrance fee and snacks).

They recommend your bring sun protection, sun glasses, hat, camera, hiking shoes and some money for personal needs.

Carara National Park (LM #4) Departure Time: 7:30 AM Return at approximately 3:30 PM

poison frogThe Carara National Park is located approximately one hour from Manuel Antonio near the Tarcoles River which is inhabited by wild crocodiles which can reach 15 feet (5 mts.) in length. The park itself is home to the endangered Scarlet Macaw as well as Jacamar, Trogons and is a paradise for birdwatchers and nature lovers with many areas designated as Primary and Secondary Forest. The hike through the park takes approximately 2 1/2 hours.

Price: $80 per person - 4 people minimum. This fee includes transportation, park entrance fee and lunch.

 

Quepos Canopy Tour (LM #6)  

The Quepos area offers a nine- platform canopy tour which is located in the rainforest and which will you provide you with a natural rush as you glide from tree to tree. This is a great way to see the jungle from above.

Price: $65 per person - This tour is available to people of all ages and who are in normal physical condition.

 

Jaco Waterfalls Canopy Tour (LM #7)  

the rappel tree  The area of Jaco offers a spectacular thirteen-platform canopy tour with no less than three beautiful waterfalls in the midst of a transitional jungle. Our platforms range from ground level to over 100 feet above the ground and include a Tarzan Swing, Suspension Bridge, Slide and a fully furnished three-story Tree house in the style of the Swiss family Robinson. At the end of this tour and starting again at ground level is very long steel cable with an 80 foot rappel down for the truly adventurous. Experience it all safely with our highly trained naturalist guides. Price: $55 without transportation.

Motor yacht complete with diving platform and observation tower will take you on a wonderful tour of the Manuel Antonio coast line while searching for dolphins and other marine life. During these tours we have also seen flying fish, sea turtles, lots of sea birds as well as an occasional humpback whale. We'll take you to a great place to go snorkeling and will visit "Pirates Cove" which is surrounded by a beautiful rain forest. You can swim to your heart's desire and on the way back be completely overwhelmed by a gorgeous sunset!. Price: $55 per person ($220.00 minimum - 6 passengers maximum)

This tour includes a multilingual and professional guide, snorkeling and fishing equipment, tropical fruit, snacks and all beverages.

 

Caņo Island Discovery Package (LM #9)  

granite spheresThe trip to Cano Island is one of our more popular and exciting trips. The Cano Island Biological Reserve is best known for its inshore coral reefs and its importance as a pre-Colombian cemetery. There are many tombs and artifacts yet to be found such as pestles, corn grinding tables, and granite spheres which are slowly disappearing in the rain forest. A well-maintained trail will take you into a verdant rain forest where some of these artifacts can be seen. Like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie, you might see some real Boa Constrictors, giant frogs, and several mammal species such as the Marsupial and Paca. The flora and fauna of this island is one of the most diverse in the hemisphere and the island is surrounded by secluded, almost white beaches which attract several turtle species. If you like to snorkel you can see some brilliant tropical fish, Moray Eels, Sea Cucumbers and the small Reef Sharks among the abundant coral beds. Offshore waters are teeming with Bottled-Nosed Dolphins, Manta Rays, Sperm- Pilot- and Humpback Whales. Almost 6000 hectares of ocean has been designated as part-of the Reserve.

Price: $840.00 - This is a full day trip for up to 6 passengers and includes transportation to and from the Inn, breakfast, lunch, snacks, fresh fruit throughout the day, all beverages, entrance tickets, guided island tour (multilingual tour guide), snorkeling equipment and instruction.

 

Damas Island Mangroves (LM #10)  

Our guided tour to the mangroves of Damas Island takes place by boat and according to the tides. This tour of the estuary easy and relaxing. Just sit back and take in the flora and fauna of die mangrove. You will see many types of birds as well as a variety of animals which have made the mangroves their homes for thousands of years. They include Crocodiles, Caymans, Boa Constrictors, White Face Monkeys, Mono Titi and Sloths. Following your tour you will enjoy a special seafood lunch in a typical Costa Rican cantina.

Price: $60 per person - including transportation, lunch, beverages and tour guide.

 

Kayaking the Naranjo River (LM#11)  

If you like to paddle, this is a perfect way for exploring the coastal mangrove areas and the banks of the Naranjo River which are home to Crocodiles, the Spider and White-Face Monkey, Boa Constrictors and many types of birds. Price $65

Requirements: You need to be in relative good shape. Not recommended for small children. Bring shorts, shirts, hat, sandals, sunblock and a set of extra clothes.

 

Rafting the Naranjo River (LM #12)  

RaftingThis is a Class 3/4 half day rafting challenge for more experienced rafters. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the Central Mountain range through a spectacular gorge and takes you on a wild ride to ocean while passing typical farms and plantations. Water levels can rise quickly as well as your adrenaline so you should be physically in shape and adventurous. Price $65 per person

This includes transportation, fruits and snacks. Children under 13 not permitted and we can not assume any responsibility for accidents or any other mishaps. This is nature.

 

Sunset Sailing Trip (LM #13)  

Your adventure aboard this classic yacht begins as you sail down the scenic coast, past the beautiful beaches and islands of Manuel Antonio National Park. As the boat glides though the water you will probably see dolphins which frequently swim the boat's bow wake. Occasional whales and giant sea turtles are a special thrill and the ever present abundance of sea birds are enjoyed by even the most avid wildlife enthusiast. Your professional crew will guide you through this aquatic paradise while attending to your safety and comfort. They will serve you delicious food, in the tradition of the great cruise ships. Ale gourmet desserts are always a special treat. After dinner you may view one of the often spectacular sunsets from the teak deck of this traditional yacht while sipping a glass of wine or savoring a gourmet dessert. Price: $69 per person.
