Our trip (3nts Mansion Arenal, 1nt Monteverde, 4nts Mansion Manuel Antonio) went perfectly! The only thing we would change would be a larger 4WD for the roads to Monteverde...ouch. And, perhaps more nights in Monteverde with time permitting. We were able to see 2 quetzals at the reserve with the help of our guide. Here are some other high points: ARENAL: horseback riding at resort, hot springs at Tabacon, Toad Hall (next door) for eating and giftshop. MONTEVERDE LODGE: even though the rooms are plain, they are very clean and the atmosphere of the lodge was very homey, grounds are beautiful with hikes on-site. My husband loved the food there as well. MANUEL ANTONIO: nice resort, attentive staff. Park was beautiful. Hidden beach close to Hotel Parador very nice. We ate at Karolas (twice!) and also Barba Roja. Oh, river rafting was FUN! We only were lost a few times but my husband is fluent spanish so, no problems. Thanks for all your help and keep us posted on future specials to Costa Rica as we would like to return...preferably in the off season.

As far as the trip, it was much better than anticipated. I will be returning soon, guaranteed. I'm glad you talked me in to Montezuma. It was precisely what I was looking for (although a bit primitive for my wife, i.e., no air conditioning). I plan a "guy" trip there soon to fish and crash for a week before we send for our wives. Thanks again. Will book with you again soon.

Just wanted to drop you a note to tell you how fantastic our trip was. We are completely enchanted with Costa Rica.Your arrangements on our behalf were wonderful and the Luck of the Irish held true again. We saw the top of Arenal, the polytechnics and lava flow.

Apparently, this is rare especially during the Green Season. We saw 8 giant Green Sea Turtles, including one laying her eggs and camouflaging her nest while in Tortuguera not to mention all the other birds and animals of the area. This too can be a rare experience even during the height of the nesting period. Natalia arranged for the canopy tour in Quepos, which was fantastic and I would recommend highly to anyone with even a small sense of adventure.

We decided to let Erin (our youngest) take a surfing lesson instead of horseback riding (which we can do in Atlanta). Les went White Water Rafting while the three ladies spent some beach time. I would say that being mostly bi-lingual myself and having a daughter who is very conversant in Spanish helped us to enjoy the trip even more. Several of our drivers had very limited English, but this posed no problem for me or my family. On the other hand, we were very impressed with the level of education and information our guides possessed. All in all, it was a vacation we all will remember with fantastic memories. Thanks again for putting up with all of my changes of mind, but it was worth it to us. We will be back!.

I just wanted to write and say THANK YOU!! Our honeymoon was wonderful. Hotel Sugar Beach and Hotel Xandari were both great. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. I have told everyone about you so maybe they will email and set up a trip to Costa Rica. Once again thank you very much for all the time you spent with us, answering all of our questions and taking the time to make sure it all went smoothly.

You did a great job of locating a Terios for me around Christmas time. Any chance you can pull off the trick for me again on much shorter notice? Last time you got me a Terios from Adobe, which was perfect.
